Stainless steel wire mesh can be made into filter element to sieve various materials in chloride corrosion environmental conditions. With good toughness and welding performance, it also can be used for infill panels or space divider.

Woven stainless steel mesh is used for a large number of applications, including filtration, ventilation, machine guards, pest proofing. Woven 300 Mesh is a very fine, cloth-like mesh with a very small hole size. Given that the material is extremely flexible, it may need the support of a frame to add rigidity.
This mesh is only available in our higher quality grade 316 stainless steel (sometimes called Marine Grade). Grade 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which is added to boost its resistance to corrosion and should be selected if the material is to be used in a salt water or coastal environment.
