Diamond Flexible Stainless Steel Cable Wire Mesh Anti-Falling Helideck Safety Netting is a specialized protective mesh system designed to improve safety around helidecks, offshore platforms, marine facilities, and elevated working areas. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel wire ropes, this flexible mesh features a diamond-shaped opening structure that combines mechanical strength, flexibility, and long-term durability. It is designed to provide an additional protective barrier against accidental falls while maintaining an open structure that allows air and light to pass through.

Helideck safety netting is particularly important in offshore environments, where personnel may work near exposed edges under challenging weather conditions. Stainless steel cable mesh can be installed around designated perimeter areas to help reduce the risk of people slipping or falling beyond the platform edge. The mesh can also be incorporated into customized safety protection systems according to project drawings, installation requirements, and applicable safety standards.

The primary material is stainless steel wire rope, commonly available in SS304 and SS316 grades. SS304 stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance and mechanical performance for many general applications. SS316 stainless steel provides enhanced resistance to chloride-related corrosion, making it a preferred option for marine environments and offshore helideck installations exposed to salt spray.

The diamond-shaped mesh pattern is formed by connecting or interweaving stainless steel wire ropes. Depending on the design, the intersections may use stainless steel ferrules or a knotted construction. Ferrule-type mesh uses metal sleeves to secure the cable intersections, creating a uniform appearance and stable mesh structure. Knotted mesh connects the ropes through specialized weaving techniques to produce a flexible, integrated net.
